Frequently Asked Questions
The mattress comes compressed for ease of transport and to reduce packaging. Once opened, you're able to sleep on it right away but we recommend allowing the sofa mattress to settle and recover for a minimum of 72 hours for it to reach it's full potential!
Even though there are zippers on some covers we don’t recommend removing them to wash.
Instead, we recommend spot cleaning any nasty spills.
Spot cleaning:
- Remove any spills immediately.
- Use a mild detergent to gently remove any loose soilage.
- Do not scrub with a stiff brush.
- Use a clean cloth to blot out any excess liquid.
- Avoid over wetting as this may result in a water mark.
- Allow the fabric to dry in a well ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
With any new sofa, the seating and the foam will soften the first few months of regular use before it stabilises. This is normal and should not be considered a fault.
Similarly, if you curl up or sit on one part of the seat cushion more often, it will will soften more than areas less used. As the foam softens and the sofa is used, it is normal for fabric the crease or wrinkle and this can be easily maintained.
